2020 Longyou Grottoes International Music Festival Held With Great Fanfare

QUZHOU, China–(BUSINESS WIRE)–2020 Longyou Grottoes International Music Festival will be held at Longyou Grottoes Scenic Spot from 14 to 17 October. By then, international level Chinese musicians will give an instrumental performance on the scene together with top musician teams in other countries, offering fans all over the world a four days of �Cloud Concert” feast at Longyou Grottoes Scenic Spot. The grand ceremony will be sponsored by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Quzhou Municipal People’s Government, and Longyou County People’s Government, undertaken by Quzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, Longyou County Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, and executed by the Music Radio of Zhejiang Radio & TV Group.

Longyou is located at upstream of the Qiantang River. It belongs to Quzhou City. The theme of the Longyou Grottoes International Music Festival will be “Unbounded Charm of Longyou Music”. International musician teams will be introduced to explore the cultural gene of Longyou Grottoes.

2020 Longyou Grottoes Music Festival will be comprised of three grotto musical shows, an outdoor music festival and a seminar. Among others, the grotto musical shows will have a main venue at the grotto 2. Famous pianist Lang Lang will give his performance in the concert, bringing the greatest immersive experience to the audience on the scene.

The third grotto performance—“Attractive Chyi Charm” presents both ancient mysterious chants and instrumental performance, and an amazing hi-tech immersive performance of sound, light and electricity. Above all, the interludes of “Cloud Concert”—the Dream of Sleeves and the Moon• Traveler—to be played by Chinese and foreign artists will witness convergence of modern sound, light and electrical technologies with traditional music at Longyou Grottoes, creating a brand-new art form in the ancient, mysterious history of the grottoes.

At a music seminar to be given on October 15 about Listening to Longyou Music—Acoustic Experience and Exploration of Grottoes, composers, artists and educators at home and abroad will have an academic discussion on the cloud forum. Longyou Redwood Town Music Festival is scheduled to commence on October 17, famous singers will light up the whole night with their stage performance.
