2024 CITI & CATI Index Results Announced: Luxshare Precision Continues to Lead in Green Supply Chain

HONG KONG SAR – Media OutReach Newswire – 23 January 2025 – On October 31, 2024, the Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs (IPE) released the 2024 Green Supply Chain CITI Evaluation Report and 2024 Supply Chain Climate Action CATI Evaluation Report, evaluating 780 companies across 23 industries. Luxshare Precision ranked 4th in the CATI index and 11th in the CITI index, maintaining its leading position in Greater China for consecutive years.

The IPE, dedicated to promoting environmental information transparency and public participation, developed the CITI index in 2014 and the CATI index in 2021 to encourage both Chinese and international companies to build environmentally and climate-friendly global supply chains.

In 2024, the IPE upgraded the CITI and CATI indices to focus on supply chain collaboration. The enhanced CITI index evaluates companies’ green supply chain management across five dimensions: management mechanism, compliance and corrective action, resource use and pollutant release, energy use and climate action, and stakeholder green choice. The CATI index now includes product carbon footprint disclosure and value chain emission reduction, assessing corporate climate governance actions through five dimensions: governance, measurement and disclosure, carbon targets setting, performance against carbon targets, and climate action.

During the Green Supply Chain and Climate Action Forum, Lin Daofeng, Director of the Sustainable Development Promotion Center at Luxshare Precision, shared the company’s example practices in green supply chain management, playing a constructive role in helping businesses across industries fulfill their environmental and climate commitments.

Luxshare Precision has developed a green supply chain management system, implementing an ESG carbon emission management module and activating a Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) system carbon reduction module. This system efficiently collects and calculates supply chain carbon emission data and energy-saving and carbon-reduction measures.
