A Leading New Fintech Startup Ecosystem from CFTE

CFTE reveals the imminent launch of its Fintech startup ecosystem, at La Place in Paris.

London, United Kingdom, February 28, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CFTE), a global learning and innovation platform for Finance 2.0, has announced the launch of its startup ecosystem at La Place, a premier Fintech hub, in Paris in front of over 150 financial professionals.

Following from CFTE's successful online & offline learning schemes, which have helped 70 percent of Tier 1 financial professionals act on industry transformation, CFTE now expands its offering to startups. The move allows startups scale their business & visibility by using the synergies created with CFTEs alumni network.

Huy Nguyen Trieu, co-founder of CFTE said, "We are delighted to be able to extend our ecosystem to top-quality startups across Fintech. We strongly believe that this will lead to strong partnerships with some of the industry's brightest minds, and it is an important step as we enter a new decade of evolution in Finance."

Potential startups will benefit from 4 major opportunities in joining CFTEs ecosystem: Expertise - with the distinct possibility of becoming senior lecturers on the platform; Exposure - via showcasing one's technologies and services at associated events; Exceptional talent - with opportunities to network with a diverse pool of industry-leading alumni; and case studies - from influential companies and cutting across dominant regions of Fintech worldwide.

The French capital represents a great launchpad for the announcement. Artificial Intelligence was recently revealed as a strategic focus for the government, with at least 1.5 billion to be invested over the next four years across public research and startups nationwide. Furthermore, the country is home to at least 335 startups utilising AI, and currently has in excess of 80 research centres devoted to improving Frances standing as a prominent hub for emerging technologies.

La Place served as a strong catalyst in making this announcement a reality. La Place was founded in 2018 by a collective of GL events, Bpifrance, Finance Innovation, Finance for Tomorrow, lInstitut Louis Bachelier and Paris Europlace. Additional anchor sponsors Generali, Crdit Agricole and Capgemini also continue to be involved its governance and daily proceedings. It was founded with a vision to extend opportunities in innovation to the wider Finance ecosystem, combined with the strong proposition of offering a dedicated venue within the emblematic Palais Brongniart. Through frequent discussions, workshops and conferences on Fintech and Insurtech, La Place enables startups, corporations, institutions and investors to meet and collaborate on the future of the industry.

Malla Sourivong, Manager of La Place said, The launch with CFTE was designed to be at La Place, and this is exactly what we want to do here: gather the ecosystem and help startups develop by expanding their network! We are proud to be partners with CFTE and are excited about the future projects we will hold together!
