This Art Show will showcase some of the art work created in the NYC Drawing the Dance workshops organized throughout the year.

dance!

When (Press & Public): Opening Reception Event: Sunday, December 15th, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

When (Public): General Public Showing: Tuesday, December 10th , 2019 until January 5th, 2020. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 11 to 5. Closed on holidays. Appointment needs to be booked for out of hours entry.

What: NYC Drawing the Dance Art Show is derived from the NYC Drawing the Dance Workshops, organized by Creative Performances and hosted at Dixon Place Theater. These workshops are one of a kind. The artists create their art work with moving dancers as their inspirations.
This Art Show will showcase some of the art work created in the workshops organized throughout the year.

Dixon Place is an incubator for artists since 1986 and a non-profit organization committed to supporting the creative process by presenting original works of theater, dance, music, puppetry, literature, performance and visual art at all stages of development. Dixon Place is the only non-profit theater of its size to own and operate a full service cocktail lounge where all profits support its invaluable mission.
