Artist Ventures Client Terry Savage Stars in Feature Film “Deceitful”

Los Angeles, Wallis and Futuna, June 17, 2013 –(PR.com)– Directed by Jason Horton (Hemingway, The Prayer Circle, Edges of Darkness), this sexy, thriller/noir centers around Robert (Savage) and his brother Julian (played by newcomer Sal Vance) and their wives as they plan to kill their business partner Isaac (Starr) and take over the family business, but their business partner has other plans.

Artist Ventures presents Terry Savage:
Growing up in San Diego, CA, Savage started in radio at 92.5 XHRM-FM while still in high school, and has seen the world of radio evolve greatly. During his stint on the air, there were cart machines and records, which has changed to everything being digital, which he says is “cool” because it opens the landscape to everyone.

After a stint at Howard University, Terry contemplated going to New York to work but ultimately chose Los Angeles to be his home and start his career.

Savage went from behind the scenes to front the camera and hasn’t looked back since. He knew that being in LA allows for someone to live their dreams, so he’s been focused on doing just that. He studied for three years without auditioning, as his cousin Casting Director Jaki Brown advised. His friend from Howard Univ Marlon Wayans gave him of similar advice, to take the craft seriously, which Savage has indeed applied.

Terry has appeared in several commercials including Adidas, Allstate, Domino’s Pizza and Samsung, as well a number of print campaigns. Savage is also focused on building his brand, which includes an upcoming clothing line, designer bow-ties, as well as cufflinks, wallets and hats.

Outside of acting, Savage is very focused on being healthy, which includes getting in some form of exercise twice a day. He also enjoys travelling the world to explore different cultures and loves being a fish out of water. Savage truly appreciates seeing how people outside of America live that have no connection to Hollywood.

Terry took some time out of his life to take care of his father and bring him back to health, which he considered an honor. He believes family to be an important component to a well-rounded life, and says that it has made him a better man.

Presently Savage is reading scripts and deciding on his next role, as he knows he is in a fortunate position. He enjoys the process of growing with each role and knows it is a commitment. In the meantime, he will be working out and checking out the work of his favorite actors Denzel Washington, Anthony Hopkins and Robert De Niro.
