Author Shares Admirable Lessons About Self Discovery

Online PR News 13-February-2018 In a world replete with competition, gaining approval, interpersonal relationships and desire for attention, comes a book about accepting oneself as you really are.

Author, William K. Zimmer, brings a heartwarming tale of a turtle named Tobias, who finds himself confused and dissatisfied with himself.

A story of doubt, friendship and revelation immersed in a world of good-natured animals, The Tale of a Turtle Who Learned a Good Lesson, reveals an ultimate lesson of learning to love and accept who you really are.

The book tells of the adventure of Tobias, a box turtle who is always complaining about carrying his heavy shell while admiring the agility of lizards.

Meet Lumpy, a toad, who becomes Tobias best friend and convinces Tobias that being a lizard would not be as wonderful as he imagines.

Then theres the crafty vulture, who misleads Tobias for personal gain, and arranges for him to meet the change monster, allegedly to free Tobias from his shell. The change monster, however, is in fact an eighteen-wheeler truck that would turn Tobias into a meal for the vulture.

A wise and caring Lumpy saves his friend from being conned and persuades his friend to accept himself for whom he truly is and to stop trying to be something he is not.

The truth, sometimes with the help a good friend, is ultimately the key that unlocks the door of self- imprisonment.
