Avatar Making App for Metaverse �MakeAvatar� Linked With Social VR �VRChat �

NIIGATA, Japan–(BUSINESS WIRE)–“Metaverse Hyper Content Studio that brings the value of Reality and Digital to you.� Gugenka Inc (CEO Masafumi Mikami) announced that Gugenka’s avatar making app for metaverse “MakeAvatar” will be linked to the world popular social VR platform “VRChat”.

Conventionally, users have to use 3DCG softwares and game development softwares to upload avatars to use on VRChat. However, this linking will enable users to upload the avatar directly to VRChat from the MakeAvatar app.

MakeAvatar is the first Japanese avatar making app that links to VRChat. This link will be launched this winter.

Avatar making app “MakeAvatar”

“MakeAvatar” is a mobile app that users can create their own avatar just by adjusting facial and body parts. Users can wear original clothings or clothings of popular characters sold in “XMarket”, Gugenka’s digital contents EC store.

Avatars created with MakeAvatar can also be used in various social VR such as “DOOR”, “Virtual Cast”, “THE SEED ONLINE”, and “VRoid Hub”.

Clothing Collaboration with Popular Game Characters

Sold at Tokyo Game Show VR 2021

Collaboration clothings of popular games for MakeAvatar will be released at Tokyo Game Show VR 2021 (TGSVR2021), which is held on September 30th~October 3rd 2021.

All avatar clothings can be used on VRChat by linking it with MakeAvatar that is scheduled this winter.
