Baahubali 2: The Conclusion – Worldwide release on 28 April 2017

The much awaited movie Baahubali: The Conclusion is set to release worldwide on 28 April 2017. When Shiva, the son of Bahubali, learns about his heritage, he begins to look for answers. His story is juxtaposed by past events that unfolded in the Mahishmati Kingdom.

Here is the story line: When two opposite ends unite the rod breaks in between. When Shiva, the son of Bahubali realizes his past from Kattappa, he seeks to find consensus to his question : Why did Kattapa kill his father? This, Bahubali- the Conclusion showcases the answer and its consequences on the Mahishmati Kingdom when its roots are stirred.

Director S.S. Rajamouli recently announced that there will be a Baahubali 3, however it will be a new story set in the same universe and will not star Prabhas as Shivudu or Satyaraj as Katappa.

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is the sequel to Rajamouli’s immensely successful 2015 film Baahubali: The Beginning. The sequel will see Prabhas, Daggubati and Tamannah Bhatia reprise their roles from the prequel. It is slated to release on 28 April.

Baahubali: The Beginning. Initially, both parts were jointly produced on a budget of ?2.5 billion (US$37 million), however the budget of the second part was increased later. Baahubali: The Conclusion has made ?5 billion (US$74 million) before release.
