Carpa Education to Take Part in the United Nations International Youth Day 2019 Celebrations

Carpa Education will celebrate the international youth day organized by Casse Africa to further restate its commitment to quality education among the youths of Nigeria especially to the youth of Akwa Ibom State.

Uyo, Nigeria, July 17, 2019 –(PR.com)– In the world today, according a the United Nations report, there are currently 1.8 billion young people between the ages of 10 and 24. This is the largest juvenile population in history. But 1 in 10 children in the world live in conflict zones and 24 million of them are out of school. Political instability, labor market challenges and limited space for political and civic participation have led to greater isolation of young people in societies.

In Nigeria, there are about 10.5 million out-of-school children—the world’s highest number according to UNICEF statistics on Education in NIgeria. This year, the United Nations has themed the International Youth day Transforming Education. This year’s theme highlights efforts to make education more inclusive and accessible for all youth, including efforts by youth themselves. Rooted in Goal 4 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, to “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all,” International Youth Day 2019 will examine how Governments, young people and youth-led and youth-focused organizations, as well as other stakeholders, are transforming education so that it becomes a powerful tool to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

To this end, Carpa Education will celebrate the international youth day organized by Casse Africa to further restate its commitment to quality education among the youths of Nigeria especially to the youth of Akwa Ibom State.

Carpa Education is a Study Abroad consultancy company located at 183, Ikot ekpene road in Akwa Ibom State. Study abroad consultants will be on hand to give advice and answer questions to those students who wish to further their education abroad.
