How It Compares
Traditional storage geysers store hot water in a large tank, which leads to standby energy loss. The Havells instant model heats water only when needed, cutting down electricity bills.
Compared with other instant heaters in the ₹3,500‑₹5,000 range, Havells offers a thicker 304 L stainless steel tank, giving it a longer life than models that use thinner sheets.
Many budget instant heaters lack a robust safety plug; Havells includes a heavy‑duty 3‑pin moulded plug and fire‑retardant cord, making it safer for high‑rise wiring.
While some competitors provide a single LED, the twin LED on this unit makes it easier to see when heating is in progress, improving user confidence.
The only downside is the 5‑liter capacity, which may be small for large families needing continuous hot water for multiple showers. However, for 2‑3 members or a single bathroom, it is perfect.
