The innovative slipcover makers called Comfort Works have re-imagined the traditional couch cover. Combining design and technology, the team is taking custom slipcovers and your everyday sofa covers to not only being beautiful, but functionally smart as well with latest built-ins, such as USB ports and wireless charging.
Slipcovers are traditionally used to hide or disguise any aesthetic defects that an upholstered sofa may have. Additionally, the first impressions of a slipcover is never that of a fitted, sofa cover.
This company allows people to rejuvenate a tired sofa, or simply give it a new look by being an after-market provider of some well-known sofa brands.
These couch covers can be personalised even further, with Comfort Works giving their customers the option to add on a USB port, as well as Wireless Charging pockets should they desire.
“This was in effect, for the user to turn into the ultimate ‘couch potato,'” said co-founder, Henry Chandra.
As of yet, no other company has designed slipcovers that combine today’s smart technology into it.
