CT Group Appoints Managing Director to Grow South-East Asia Focus

LONDON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–CT Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Abdul Malik to the role of Managing Director, Singapore.

Malik will lead CT Group�s new office in Singapore, further establishing their vastly growing presence in the region.

Abdul Malik was born and resides in Singapore, and brings a wealth of experience in professional services to his new role at the CT Group – as Managing Director, Singapore.

Most recently, Malik was Chief Operating Officer at the law firm Oon & Bazul LLP, where he was responsible for setting the firm’s commercial and financial strategies, managing a team of 65 lawyers. He was the first non-legal professional to be awarded equity in a law firm in Singapore

Prior to that, Malik was COO at RHTLaw Taylor Wessing, a new venture of 120 lawyers set up in 2012. There, Malik was responsible for business development strategy: targeting key commercial clients and government contacts and winning regional work.

Earlier in his career, Malik held Business Development Manager roles at various organisations, including the Energy Market Authority, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, and British Council Singapore.
