EdTech Korea Forum 2022 Opens on 21 September

It�s Time for Digital Transformation of Education

Into the Next Phase of Education through Digital Platforms


SEOUL, South Korea–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#AIMinistry of Education of South Korea holds the EdTech Korea Forum 2022 to discuss and share ideas to design educational innovation.

With its 17th anniversary, the forum will be live streamed on the official website and YouTube in English and Korean from 21 September (Wed) to 23 September (Fri) (Korean Standard Time, UTC+9).

The forum will serve as a platform to bring policy-makers, experts, and stakeholders in the field of education, as well as the students, teachers and industrial partners, under the topic of “Into the Next Phase of Education through Digital Platforms.” It will explore a resilient education system by sharing the best practices and experiences related to Education Technology (EdTech) education.

The forum aims to build and continue an international network by exchanging knowledge for learning innovation in preemptive response to the rapidly changing environment.

On day 1, Professor Wayne Holmes, an authority in the field of Artificial Intelligence education, will deliver a keynote speech on “Artificial Intelligence and Education. A Critical Studies Perspective.” He will provide insight into the application of AI in the educational field based on the current status of AI in education, and ask questions about the future of AI and learning.

On day 2, Jinha Lee, a CPO of metaverse platform Spatial will make a keynote speech on “How immersive technologies will transform the way we learn and create.” He will discuss how the extended virtual world (metaverse) would influence the education field.

In addition, 46 scholars from 11 countries, including Colin Marson (Director of Google for Education), Emma Dorn (Practice Manager of Mckinsey & Company), and Hong Gee Kim (Professor of Seoul Nation University) will be gathering together for an in-depth discussion on global educational innovation cases.

Anyone interested in digital education can attend and participate in the forum for free. e-certificate will be issued to the participants.
