Government of India is running a Domestic Efficient Lighting Programme (DELP) under which they are promoting the usage�of LED bulbs. These bulbs are sourced from top national brands and manufacturers such as Philips, Bajaj, HPL, Crompton, OSRAM, Orient�and others.

This initiative is being run through Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) which is a Government Body. Snapdeal has partnered with EESL to distribute these bulbs across the country.

Every eco-friendly bulb comes with a 3 year warranty and will result in 75% power savings. In the rare case of a bulb not working, they could be easily replaced by contacting the customer care number present on the package.
