Hyderabad, India, February 07, 2019 --(PR.com)-- CommLab India, the most sought-after rapid eLearning solutions provider helped eLearning professionals ring in the new year on a positive note through a webinar on the eLearning trends for 2019. This webinar was conducted in collaboration with iSpring, a global leader in creating award-winning software for eLearning.

Titled eLearning Trends of 2019 From the Trenches, the webinar highlighted the "real" trends being followed by top-performing organizations. These trends are the culmination of CommLabs hands-on experience working with 74 companies, across 25 countries, developing 850 courses in 7 subjects in the last year alone.

Almost 100 L&D professionals from around the world tuned in to the webinar that was presented jointly by RK Prasad, CEO and Co-Founder, CommLab India and Tarun Johnson, Director Customer Experience (Americas), CommLab India.

The role of blended learning in extending learning beyond the classroom was the first trend discussed, which also covered various digital formats such as microlearning, mobile learning, and performance support tools. Another trend CommLab is increasingly witnessing is the new "lean" instructional design, thats making eLearning development rapid. Authoring tools such as iSpring Suite make rapid eLearning a possibility with their inbuilt features and templates.

The next trend discussed how training managers could develop training programs aligned with business goals through proper Training Needs Identification. The last two trends had the versatile learning management system (LMS) at their core. The first was how LMSs are now evolving to "teach," hosting learning resources in various formats, offering gamified features, to-do lists, learning paths, and more. iSpring Learn and Docebo are a few front-runners. The final trend was on the emergence of learning analytics, its role in calculating training ROI, and a 5-step plan to implement learning analytics.

This interactive webinar served attendees periodic poll questions and also touched on how frontier technologies such as AR/VR can be used in corporate training. Participants were enthusiastic that a glimpse into the trends had given them ample food for thought, to shape their upcoming training programs.

RK Prasad signed off saying, We wanted to help eLearning professionals gain clarity on the mainstream trends they can use to achieve performance-enhancing results, and iSpring was the perfect partner to make this a reality and help us reach out to so many professionals. We hope to collaborate on more of such ventures in the future.
