FitRist Fitness Band: Second Wearable Device from Intex Launched in India at Rs. 999

Intex has unveiled its new FitRist fitness band priced at Rs. 999. The new FitRist fitness monitoring band will be exclusively available on Snapdeal. We tried finding the same on Sanpdeal but we were not able to find it. It will be available on Snapdeal in next few days.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies said, “We have expanded our wearable segment with FitRist smart band for the fitness freak and tech savvy youth. The FitRist fitness tracker band is the second wearable from Intex while the first was the iRist smartwatch. At this price point, the Intex FitRist will be competing against the popular Xiaomi Mi Band and Micromax’s Yu YuFit – both of which – are priced at Rs. 999.

The Intex FitRist packs an Oled display and much like other fitness trackers can measure health and fitness related features such as step monitoring, distance measurement, calorie count, and sleep monitoring. FitRist will be connected to your smartphone using Bluetooth, once connected it can display calls, messages and mails notification. It can also help users to control music tracks playing on their Smartphone.

The company says the FitRist can offer up to 12 days standby. In addition, the new wearable device also packs remote shutter function that allows users to control the camera of smartphone from the band itself. FitRist is water resistant and splash proof preventing it from rain and spills. It will be available in dark blue and white.
The FitRist screen measuring 0.86 inches and has a screen resolution of 96×32 pixels. The device is compatible with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and above, as well as iOS 7 and above. It comes with Bluetooth 4.0 and weighs 21 grams.
