Long days after Chennai got the Rain which paved the way for the cancellation of Airlines, Railways in many parts of the Chennai.
Schools, colleges and other non-government installations remained shut on. Tuesday as large parts of the capital city remained marooned following continuous rains for the last three days.
The weather department has reported rains for the next couple days which could deteriorate the situation further.
The Tamil Nadu capital has received 27 cm of rainfall, resulting in flooding in low-lying areas, predominantly residential colonies built along or on reclaimed lakebeds.
