Gionee launched Gionee S6 Pro with 4GB RAM and Android 6.0

Gionee launched Gionee S6 Pro smartphone in Chinese market. Gionee S6 Pro is the upgraded version of the older Gionee S6 and its priced at CNY 1,999 (around Rs 20,000) in China and The handset is available in gold, Rose Gold and silver color.

In terms of specification Gionee S6 features an all-metal body and also comes with a fingerprint reader on the front bezel that doubles as the home button. As per the info from Official website, Gionee claims that the fingerprint reader can unlock the smartphone in just 0.1 seconds. Now a days most of the manufacturers highlights the unlock time, to show how fast their fingerprint reader is. The other highlights of the smartphone are Android 6.0 Marshmallow and USB Type-C port. Gionee S6 Pro comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display. The handset is powered by a 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P MT6755m processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The same can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.

When it comes to camera Gionee S6 Pro is equipped with a 13MP camera with an LED flash on the back and 5MP unit on the front. The power house of the device is a 3130mAh battery and comes with the usual connectivity options Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and 4G LTE radios (with VoLTE support). Gionee S6 Pro is just 7.6mm thin and weighs in at 170 grams (which is bit high compared to other phones at this price). There is no official info on the availability of the phone in other global markets.
