In November 2019, Gather releases a major update to the usability and appearance of the data capture app, giving customers more control than ever before.
Driving this update; feedback and requests from thousands of international Gather app users in differing departments. Understanding how leading global brands use data capture apps with their audience, helped guide a first-class user experience for all Gather users.
The Gather 2020 update gives users more control to customise functionality to produce a frictionless experience for all users.
Globally Recognisable Icons
Moving from a text list menu to iconography has simplified the menu interface, helping with international adoption in organisations.
Under Your Thumb
Moving the menu button from the top left to the bottom centre means even on the biggest mobile device, functionality is under the thumb.
Customise Navigation with Quick Links
Quick links give each user the power to customise their app with the functionality they use most.
Features and functionality of your choosing can now be pinned to the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, within thumb’s distance for handheld devices and just one tap away.
Quick link customisation is managed within the app, so your team can edit your forms in situ at events. The ability to customise the app for different uses is especially convenient for when the Gather app is used across departments.
Better, Faster, Stronger
Behind the scenes Gather has worked to give app users big performance improvements; Dramatically faster loading times to view data, load forms and navigate the app.
