Ittiam Licenses its AI Powered Media Transcoder Solution to Enable WOWOW�s IP Streaming Service

BENGALURU, India & TOKYO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#AI—Ittiam Systems, a leading provider of Advanced Video and Visual Analytics solutions, has licensed its high performance cloud based content adaptive media transcoder solution to WOWOW, a premium satellite television station in Japan. The transcoder integrated with �cloud media work flow’ powers the full HD IP streaming solution of WOWOW. The Transcoder provides high performance, high quality video encoding along with high quality AAC based Audio encoder. Ittiam HEVC based encoding solution uses comprehensive tool sets and patented advanced algorithms to enable pristine video quality.

The Transcoder uses machine learning based non-iterative content adaptive encoding solution-THINKode. THINKode is codec agnostic and low on computational complexity.
