KYMA Launches Portable Automatic Moisture Meter KHK-21

– Patented technology enables five-minute moisture measurement and verification

SUWON, South Korea–(BUSINESS WIRE)–KYMA, a comprehensive environmental measurement solutions company founded as an atmospheric environment measuring instrument manufacturer, has released the patented portable automatic moisture meter KHK-21.

KHK-21, a portable automatic moisture meter, complies with the revised air pollution process test standards. It also uses KYMA’s domestically patented technology to complete the entire measurement process from preheating to measurement in around 5 minutes. Additionally, KHK-21 is a portable, battery-powered device that can operate for nearly a week on a single charge.

KHK-21 is gaining attention as a simple and innovative measuring device because it does not require additional heating, cooling, optical, or chemical devices thanks to its capacitive sensor measurement approach. The device’s ten sensors comprehensively measure various settings, including high pressure, low pressure, and high temperature, reducing deviation from normal readings and enhancing measurement accuracy. Measured results can be immediately printed on-site using a thermal printer or transferred to a USB drive for archiving.

KYMA aims to enter overseas markets as the environmental crisis has become a global issue. The company has committed to expanding into international markets such as Japan, Taiwan, and Vietnam, starting with North America in June 2023.
