Medtech & Pharma Platform Annual Event Celebrates Its 5th Anniversary in Basel

Basel, Switzerland, October 15, 2018 –(PR.com)– The MPP annual event, organized by the Medtech & Pharma Platform international industry association, is the leading conference in the sector of combined products, bringing together key stake­holders from medtech and pharmaceutical companies with the aim to encourage cross-sectoral collaboration, foster innovation and enhance synergies.

Keynote speakers Michael Doherty of Foundation Medicine and Charles Bridges of Actelion will open the conference with insights into innovations at the intersection of pharma and medtech. Their presentations will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Matthew May of the European Patients’ Forum, who will bring the patients’ perspective on these innovative products.

Over the two days, six sessions will focus on current topics relating to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, in-vitro diagnostics and combined products. Internationally acknowledged experts will discuss regulatory trends, innovative technologies, combined products development, digital health, and management of patient data.
