Nehmeh Wins Qatar Sustainability Award

Doha, Qatar, November 09, 2017 –(PR.com)– Qatar’s leading Industrial Solutions provider, Nehmeh, has been honored with Qatar’s First ever “Green Corporate” award at the Qatar Sustainability Awards 2017, organized by Qatar Green Building Council, a member of Qatar Foundation which recognizes the efforts, commitment, and contributions of individuals, institutions and organizations in furthering sustainable development and environmental protection in Qatar and beyond.

This award was earned by Nehmeh for its efforts towards creating value and impact towards Corporate governance, Human Rights and Environment Sustainability.

Nehmeh’s work on sustainability is integrated throughout its value chain and a natural part of how it operates. From sourcing to recycling, sustainability initiatives are based on an ongoing analysis and also cover aspects of conduct and governance, and involve both their internal and external stakeholders.

The awards ceremony named Qatar Sustainability Award 2017, honored organizations for their efforts in both development & environmental protection, was held along a Gala Dinner on October 29th, 2017 and organized by the Qatar Green Building Council, a member of Qatar Foundation. A jury comprised of senior sustainability and green building experts, practitioners and sustainability academics, reviewed all nominations across different categories.
