New Global Initiative of Sydney Strabala of CreatingSyd, ALO Yoga, and Global Non-Profit Seed Evolution Host a Tree Planting Project in Peru for Earth Day

Cusco, Peru, April 07, 2021 –(PR.com)– This will be the third reforestation of native trees to balance the struggling ecosystem in the Peruvian mountains. This new global collaboration will visit the small local community of Soqma, Peru to combat the effects of invasive plants in many of these rural communities. Jesus Amadeu Coca, of Parwa Adventures, has dedicated his life to giving back to the earth. This series of tree planting trips is not only significantly helping the land heal, but is appreciated by the Peruvian government in rebalancing the local permaculture and farming. Massive industrial eucalyptus production is presenting problems for Peruvian agriculture. Exotic species like eucalyptus and pine, wreak havoc on the soil, with each tree sucking about 5-10 gallons (20 to 40 liters) of water out of the ground every day.

The non-profit, Seed Evolution and Parwa Adventures has a goal is to plant over 300 native trees alongside the local community. They will come together in solidarity for Earth Day sponsored by Alo Yoga’s new global outreach program, “Club Alo.”

The day will begin with a breathwork session led by expert breathwork guide and meditation teacher Sydney Strabala. And the service trip will end by visiting the Perenilloc waterfalls and the historic ruins of the original Inca trail, led by tour guide Jesus Amadeu Coca.
