NUBS China Launches its First Student Career Development Magazine � STAR Magazine

NINGBO, China–(BUSINESS WIRE)–As one core component of the NUBS China STAR Student Development Scheme, the STAR Magazine publishes career development insights from industry leaders and career experts, policies related to local and international employment, as well as personal and career development resources and opportunities. With the aim of enhancing students’ self and career awareness, the magazine will be published in electronic form every month (including semester breaks) via FoB Career emails. At the end of each semester, a collection of the best articles and tips will be provided in a PDF document and shared with all NUBS China students. In each issue, the STAR Magazine will choose a few themes from the following:

1. Student Experience Sharing

Experience sharing by NUBS China students who have achieved success in areas of personal and career development, e.g., experience of successfully completing an internship in a well-known company, or participating in a career development project. We welcome student submissions for the coming issues.

2. Expert Sharing

Expert experience sharing from faculty members, industrial leaders or alumni with extensive industrial work experience.

3. Policy Updates

The most recently updated national and international policies about graduate employment.

4. Career Development Insights and Inspirations

Career development insights and inspirations provided by the STAR magazine team and guest contributors, e.g., faculty members, business leaders and career experts as well as trending research published in leading business/career magazines and journals.

5. Information Board

Information about NUBS China student intern positions or career development activities and events.

6. Employer Story

Insights into local employers – organizational culture, talent strategies and implications for job applicants and new starters.

The number of graduates in 2020 will reach a new high. However, affected by the pandemic, the employment situation for graduates this year is becoming more severe. The following employment policies provide insights for UNNC students who are preparing to enter the job market.
