NXC Announces Leadership Transition

SEOUL, Korea--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NXC Corp., a leading global investment firm and holding company, today announced the appointments of Jaekyo Lee to the position of Chief Executive Officer and Alex Iosilevich as Global President and Chief Investment Officer. Jungju Kim, founder and former CEO of NXC will remain involved in the activities of NXC as a Director of the Company.

Ms. Jaekyo Lee originally joined Nexon Corp., today a core strategic holding of NXC, as the head of public relations in 1998 and transitioned to NXC in 2012. At NXC, she headed the Company�s social contribution activities as well as leading its communication unit. Recently, she has also served on the Board of the Nexon Foundation, which has become a force in children�s education and healthcare, as well as venture philanthropy in Korea since it was established in 2018.

Mr. Alex Iosilevich has been a key strategic advisor to NXC for over ten years. Most recently, he served as the Head of Media Investment Banking for UBS Investment Bank in the Americas. He previously held similar senior leadership positions at Deutsche Bank and Barclays Capital and has been one of the most prolific deal makers in the interactive entertainment sector globally over the past two decades.

Before joining Nexon, she was responsible for PR and digital communication projects at Hyundai Motor company.

Mr. Alex Iosilevich is joining NXC after over two decades of experience as an advisor and investor in the global technology, media and entertainment industry sectors. Most recently, Alex was Head of Media Investment Banking with UBS Investment Bank in the Americas, and previously held similar senior leadership roles with Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital, and Lehman Brothers. Over the course of his career, Alex has been one of the most prolific dealmakers in the interactive entertainment industry globally, having advised gaming companies and their boards on over 50 transactions totaling approximately $60 billion in value. He holds a Doctoral degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
