Oluali Records Release New Single Luandando from Kulas Featuring the Angolan Artist Irina Vasconcelos

Luanda, Angola, September 25, 2020 –(PR.com)– The history of these two artists begins as a friendship, after one night when Kulas was playing in the Floresta Lounge, in Luanda. Kulas was already a fan of Irina and the energy between them was the perfect kind to start a creative process that would peak with the release of Mukiné in 2015, by Kazukuta Records. Five years later, the two artists came back with a tribute to Luanda and the way each one of us experiences the city – Luandando. This music by Kulas is a tribute to the intense rhythms of the daily life of the vibrant city of Luanda. The vocals of Irina Vasconcelos known as the “Angolan rock warrior” give a dynamic to the track that transmits the intense rhythms of African cities. Kulas stated: “ This track was completed for a while but was held for the right moment that ended up being now in 2020, when all of us are being tested and trying to find new ways to live in our city forward.” The artists are based in different locations, Irina in Lisbon and Kulas in Luanda. This is Kulas’ second release by his label Oluali, after the single All for Me featuring Denitia earlier in August.

André Cardiga, AKA Kulas, DJ Eclético, focusing on Electronic Music, was born in Lisbon, in 1983. At the age of 2 he moved to Cape Verde, then with 7, he comes to Angola, where he currently lives.With original Releases with Kazukuta Records (AO), We Play Acid (PT) and Brise Records (Germany)]. Kulas was nominated for 2 years in a row as Ambassador of Red Bull Music Academy, Kulas became the Angola Music Awards Winner in 2018, with the two successes created in partnership with Mvula & Irina Vasconcelos. Angola, Brazil, Portugal, Cape Town, China, London was already spaces familiar to Kulas as a performer. Kulas released his single “All For Me” feat Denitia, this summer, and he keeps delivering persistently great tracks with his latest single Luandando featuring Irina Vasconcelos.
