Paylab.com – Salary Survey for All Employees Around the World

Bratislava, Slovakia, September 23, 2015 –(PR.com)– Everybody wants to know if their salary is fair. Most people think they should earn more, but this conviction is based mainly on subjective feelings. People don�t like talking about their salaries, not even with their family members or friends. For many of us, salary has become a taboo.

Profesia is a Slovak company with many years of experience in online job advertising and a member of the Finnish Alma Media group. In 2007 it introduced a solution to help people determine average salaries, and compare their salaries with other employees who work in the same position and the same region. The survey was initially launched in Slovakia, subsequently expanding to ten European countries, from Finland to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The huge interest in the service, with tens of thousands of daily visitors and more than 3.2 million salary data entries collected from 10 European countries, prompted those behind the salary survey to establish a global site for comparing salaries – www.paylab.com.

Users complete a short form on the website and find out for free if their salary is lower, higher or comparable with other respondents in the given job position and region.

Each completed questionnaire is subject to a three-phase control until deemed valid, before the data is included in calculations for other users. The questionnaires are valid for one year. The salary survey is transparent and users also know the size of the data sample with which their salary is compared.

Employees around the world can determine whether their salary is reasonable compared to other employees working in the same position and the same region.
