Training Session to be Led by the Industrys Most Knowledgeable and Respected Professionals

Online PR News � 10-June-2014 � Some of the best known and most experienced professionals from the information technology field have been tapped to lead the 2014 CyberSec training session to be presented by the internationally acclaimed and award-winning computer training solutions provider Phoenix Technology Solutions, LLC (Phoenix TS), Firoozeh Azarbaidjani-Do, co-founder and president of Phoenix TS announced today. The training session will be held October 14-17 during CyberSecurity month at the firms headquarters in Columbia, Maryland.

According to Azarbaidjani-Do the following professionals have been selected for the CyberSec 2014 faculty:

Babak Zafari, Ph.D. Candidate of Sciences at The George Washington University School of Business will be leading two Predictive Analysis sessions covering Classification for Misuse Detection and Machine Learning for Anomaly Detection. With a background in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Optimization, Zafari is currently researching Bayesian Statistic Methods for Predictive Analytics. He also works as a statistician at Integrity Management Services, an Alexandria based consulting company that focuses on health care fraud detection.

Ben Tchoubineh, CEH, ITIL Intermediate, CISSP, CISM, C++, MCT, MCSE, MCP will be leading two Risk Management Framework (RMF) sessions: Selecting Controls for Your System and The Role of Negotiation in RMF. Tchoubineh is the founder and CEO of Phoenix TS and has held a successful career as a technical trainer for over 15 years. Tchoubineh graduated with a Computer Science degree from the University of Maryland and holds numerous industry certifications in Web and Application Development, Systems Administration, Database Management and Cyber Security.

Charles A. Bell, PMP will be leading two Agile/Scrum sessions on specific topics yet to be selected. Bell, a managing partner with Siege Engine Inc., has more than 15 years experience as a project manager, consultant, coach and trainer and has also worked in contract and staff positions in the military, government, and private industry sectors. Bell holds more than 20 current and past IT certifications and has the ability to provide strategic project management training.

Claude L. Williams, CISSP, CASP, BCI, ECIH, MCT, MCITP, CWTS, Security+ will be leading two CISSP sessions, Cryptography Simplified and Best Practices in Handling BCP & DRP, two EDRP sessions, DRP Applied and DRP Workshop & Exercise, two CASP sessions, Cryptography Applied and How Technical Does One Need to Be? He also will be leading two MS Security sessions: Redmond's Protection Approach and Exploring Windows 8 and Server 2012 Security. Williams has more than 15 years of experience in information technology, information security and certification education. He holds a number of industry recognized certifications and is a certified instructor specializing in such courses as CISSP, CASP and EDRP.

Jim Wiggins, CISSP, ISSEP, CISM, CISA, SCNA, SCNP, CAP, IAM, IEM, SSCP, CEH, ECS A/LPT,
CHFI, TICSA, CIWSA, Security+, and MCSE: Security and FITS P-M will be leading two FITSP sessions: Understanding the Auditor's Options when Reviewing Security on a Government and An Operator's Guide to Security Testing: A look at NIST Special Publication 800-115. Wiggins brings more than 17 years of direct experience in the design, operation, management, and auditing of information technology systems, with the past 13 years focused on information systems security. He has an extensive background in technical education and specializes in security certification courses targeted at federal and government contracting clients.

Jonathan Jenkins, CEH, LPT, Linux+, ECIH, Security+ will be leading several sessions including:
A session on Malware Analysis, IDA Pro
Two War Room sessions, Attack Systems and Catch a Hacker
Two Cyber Warfare sessions, 8570 and What is Cyber?
A wireless/Mobile Hacking session, WPA2 Wireless Hack with Aircrack-ng; and
Two CHFI sessions, Password Cracking and Forensic Investigations and Laws.
Jenkins is a full-time instructor at Phoenix TS where he specializes in all cyber security related training. Prior to joining the Phoenix TS team, Jonathan spent over two years working as a Network Analyst for the U.S. Army. During his time with the Army, Jonathan received formal training as a security professional and worked with prestigious organizations such as Booz Allen Hamilton and the National Security Agency.
