The Indian Army exemplifies professionalism, selfless commitment and unparalleled bravery. It continues to defend our borders across some of the most challenging terrains in the world. I pay my respect to our brave martyrs, who have made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. The nation is indebted to them and their families.
I wish to place on record my deepest appreciation for the Indian Army’s contribution to nation building and the commitment of our soldiers to the service of the nation. I am confident that in keeping with its glorious traditions, the Indian Army will continue to do the nation proud.
