ProgressSoft Sparks the Interest of Central Banks at the Currency Conference in Dubai

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 17, 2019 –(PR.com)– ProgressSoft Corporation concludes a loudly successful inaugurate participation at the Currency Conference, bringing its Blockchain-based Central Bank Digital Currency to more than 70 central banks this past week in Dubai, UAE.

The premier conference gathered a circa of 400 participants including central banks and monetary authorities from across the globe to discuss currency policy and strategy, this year also addressing the future of money in a digitized world, with ProgressSoft being the sole presenter of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) amongst renowned currency solution providers at the conference.

Michael Wakileh, CEO of ProgressSoft, noted at the Currency Conference that ProgressSoft�s Blockchain-based CBDC “created a stir amongst conference participants and sparked the serious interest of a considerable number of central bank executives.” He added that “More than ever before, many countries realize the benefits of CBDC and are ready for it; we are delighted to be paving the way for central banks in this pivotal journey.”

In addition, ProgressSoft participated in a panel session to discuss the latest research and possibilities of CBDC alongside Reserve Bank of Australia, Sveriges Riksbank (Central Bank of Sweden) and Payments Canada, where ProgressSoft’s CEO unveiled the core recommendations for central banks in their pursuit of CBDC including solution design considerations and implementation approaches.

ProgressSoft’s Digital Currency Specialist also took part in a first-ever technical presentation to reveal the intricate technologies behind ProgressSoft’s CBDC including the modular components and core features carefully designed to fulfill the idiosyncratic needs of central banks.
