QNAP NAS to Integrate WoMaster’s ThingsMaster OTA Into QNAP NAS for Device Management

Taipei, Taiwan, June 19, 2019 –(PR.com)– WoMaster has teamed up with QNAP® Systems, Inc., a leading provider of Network-attached Storage (NAS) and video surveillance solutions, to integrate the ThingsMaster OTA service into QNAP NAS for over-the-air device management. This key solution provides WoMaster users with a secure and on-premises platform for centrally managing remote gateway devices.

ThingsMaster OTA is a web-based over-the-air device management solution that provides an intuitive and customizable user interface for setting, monitoring and managing deployed gateway devices without any IT development required. Device management operations such as setting batch device configurations, group reboot, and upgrading firmware ensure users stay up to date with the latest features and security patches. ThingsMaster OTA also features an interactive monitoring dashboard with a map that displays device status, wireless signal strength, and the location of all deployed LTE/5G routers. Users can also customize alerts for critical events by using Node-RED-like flow-based programming.

“We are pleased to be working alongside QNAP to include the ThingsMaster OTA service into the QNAP NAS app ecosystem for a greater usage potential,” said Mike Liu, CTO of Software Division of WoMaster, adding, “The ThingsMaster OTA service not only features an intuitive user interface to simplify management, but also leverages AI machine learning technology to prevent downtime and to recommend maintenance, providing increased managerial productivity and cost-saving benefits.”

“With numerous security options and hardware configurations, QNAP NAS serve as reliable host platforms for running the ThingsMaster OTA service. WoMaster users can also take advantage of the many rich functionalities of QNAP NAS for diversified storage and computing applications,” said Y.T. Lee, Vice President of QNAP.
