reTyre Wins Award for High Design Quality in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2019

Oslo, Norway, May 07, 2019 –(PR.com)– Red Dot has recognized the innovative tyre system as the first of its kind – an integrated zip-on technology, allowing cyclists to quickly change their tyre to match the terrain. reTyre One, the base tyre of the system comes with a reinforced zipper. Should the weather change unexpectedly, the user simply needs to zip on the skin most suitable for the new road condition.

reTyre will officially receive their award at the Red Dot Gala 8 July 2019, which will be held in Essen’s Aalto-Theater. In addition to being celebrated for their outstanding achievement, winners will at subsequent Designers’ Night party have their product exhibited at “Design on Stage” in the Red Dot Design Museum Essen, and from that date be showcased in the Red Dot Design Yearbook, online and in the app.
