Scott’s Heating & Air Conditioning Offers 20-Point Maintenance Program

Scotts Heating & AC suggests homeowners sign up for a Planned Maintenance to keep your homes heating and cooling systems running great.

Online PR News – 06-March-2018 – As Benjamin Franklin once said, By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail. With this old saying in mind, Scott’s Heating & Air Conditioning, one of Central Floridas leading AC companies, suggests homeowners sign up for a Planned Maintenance to keep your homes heating and cooling systems running great.

Regular maintenance keeps your air conditioning system working at peak efficiency and can even prolong its life span, saving your money. Planned maintenance can also help you avoid potential problems by catching them before they go beyond maintenance and become necessary repairs.

Scott’s Heating & Air Conditioning offers two maintenance options: a one-time residential maintenance visit or an annual residential maintenance agreement, which includes two maintenance visits each year. Every 20-point maintenance visit includes:
1.Check system for proper refrigerant charge
2.Check compressor and fan amps
3.Check and clean condenser coil
4.Check capacitors
5.Check contactor points
6.Brush out electrical cabinet
7.Check all caps and valves for seals and/or proper snug fit
8.Check thermostat operation and mounting
9.Check blower amps
10.Check heat strip amps, circuit components and safeties
11.Check/evaluate evaporator coil for buildup
12.Check blower wheel for buildup
13.Check all electrical connections and wires
14.Change/wash filter
15.Check temperature splits
16.Lubricate all moving parts where applicable
17.Flush and vacuum drain line/pan and evaluate drainage
18.Check float switch operation
19.Clean equipment exterior
20.Check final performance and report necessary improvements

The price for the one-time residential maintenance visit is $99 and the annual residential maintenance agreement is $169.
When homeowners choose a Scotts Club annual residential maintenance agreement they also enjoy:
Priority scheduling for any emergency calls
15% discount on defective parts that are discovered during your routine maintenance or during service calls
$500 off system replacement and priority scheduling for system installations

The best part of our annual agreement is we keep track of when your system is due for a check-up and give you a call when its time to schedule your maintenance visits, said Scott, president and founder. Youll also enjoy peace of mind all year, knowing that youll receive a discount should anything need repaired or replaced during the plan term. It is a win-win for everyone.
