Securonix Unveils New Investments in Asia-Pacific as Regional Growth Doubles

Key Hires and Infrastructure Bolster Rapid Expansion of Next-Gen SIEM in the Asia-Pacific Region

ADDISON, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#SIEMSecuronix, Inc., a leader in Next-Gen SIEM, today announced its expansion in the Asia-Pacific region with significant investments in infrastructure and personnel. As the company experiences over 100% year over year growth and rapid customer and partner advancements across the region, it has appointed Ravi Anantha Ramaiah as head of customer success to support these developments.

In order to better serve its customers compliance and data sovereignty needs, Securonix has opened AWS cloud pods in both Singapore and India, with additional pods slated for Japan and Australia by the end of 2020. Its infrastructure investments and business traction in the SIEM market have helped the company amass a robust list of customers spanning government and public sector, financial services, manufacturing and engineering, doubling its growth in the Asia-Pacific region over the last year. Securonix has closed deals with significant partners including ST Engineering and Ensign InfoSecurity (Singapore), and Deloitte and Toyota subsidiary TS (Japan). Having already added key new hires including Ravi, the regional headquarters in Singapore will continue to triple headcount across sales, pre-sales, customer success and partner relations through the end of the year in order support rapid expansion.

“COVID-19 prompted a wave of remote work that made BYOD popularity skyrocket across the globe. As organizations look to manage the new devices and systems connecting to the corporate network, we’ve seen renewed interest in our UEBA capabilities and SIEM platform,” said Cristina Roa, Vice President of International Sales for Securonix. “While there’s a lot of opportunity in the Asia-Pacific region, Securonix is dedicated to ensuring the success of every one of our customers. We’ve invested in the region and hired top level talent like Ravi to ensure we aren’t just providing the technology, we’re also providing the leadership to ensure we’re delivering on our platform’s promise.”

Most recently at CenturyLink Singapore and NTT Security, Ravi has over 20 years of experience in service management, service delivery and technical support in both the vendor and managed security services spaces. He is adept at providing mission-critical support to CISOs and CIOs within the cybersecurity space that caters to the unique needs of organizations across Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, India, the Philippines and the entire Asia-Pacific region. At Securonix, Ravi will be focused on helping to build bridges that ensure customers are getting the most out of the Securonix platform and its wide breadth of capabilities.

The Securonix Next-Gen SIEM platform is a cloud solution that delivers analytics driven SIEM, SOAR and NTA, with UEBA at its core, automating security operations while reducing noise and identifying internal and external threats.
