SkySparc, an independent solutions provider, has appointed former TradeTech Consulting executive Torbjörn Pejer to guide the future development of Patch Upgrade as-a-Service, the firm’s highly successful structured upgrade practice.
Stockholm, Sweden, June 05, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Pejer joins SkySparc as head of Quality Center, a centralized unit with dedicated staff and resources solely focused on patch upgrades. He spent eight years at TradeTech Consulting / Virtusa(1) as a senior and then managing consultant, having previously worked as a systems manager at SEB, the European Central Bank and Sveriges Riksbank.
As a specialist provider of upgrade services since its foundation, SkySparc launched Patch Upgrade as-a-Service to better leverage the firm’s deep collective experience, proprietary methodology and test library, and OmniFi’s automated testing capabilities. This structured, streamlined approach lowers operational risk, reduces project times for clients, and improves security by enabling them to undertake upgrades more frequently.
SkySparc doubled the number of patch upgrades conducted for clients in 2018, with the Patch Upgrade as-a-Service methodology becoming widely adopted, achieving savings in excess of 30% for some service subscribers.
