Southpark Family Law Participates In Free Divorce Clinic

On Dec 20, 2018, Southpark Family Law will be leading a self-help clinic to assist community members across North Carolina in obtaining a simple divorce.

Online PR News � 20-December-2018 – Southpark Family Law is proud to announce its involvement with Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC) in a combined effort to provide free self-help for those interested in obtaining a simple divorce.

This is a free information session that will take place at a local community center near you. All North Carolina residents are welcome to attend the clinic. Spots for this session are limited and registration is available on Legal Aid of North Carolina website.

The divorce clinic is part of an ongoing series of self-help sessions designed to educate the public about the legal processes of separation, divorce, custody and child support. During the information sessions, those in attendance will watch an instructional video and be given a packet of information that includes step-by-step instructions to filing their own simple divorce. The participants will then have the opportunity to ask their general legal questions to Southpark Family Law attorney Leigh Anne Williams.

Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC) is credited with starting this event, which features self-help clinics throughout North Carolina. LANC is a nonprofit organization that continues to give back to the community by holding different advice sessions on the common legal issues faced by North Carolinians. These sessions are always free and all are welcome to attend.
