GUANGZHOU, China--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Show China's beauty industry to the world! — On the morning of 18 October, the Information Office of Guangzhou Municipal Government held a press conference and revealed that the first Guangzhou Cosmetics Week will be held from 1 to 5 November. With a theme of "Millenium Capital of Commerce, International Bay of Beauty", the event will be hosted by Guangdong Medical Products Administration and Guangzhou Municipal Government and co-organized by Guangzhou Administration for Market Regulation and relevant district governments.

To build an industry ecosystem with a global perspective, a conference on high quality development of the cosmetic industry will be held on the first day of the Cosmetics Week, when Guangzhou government will release the Guangzhou Cosmetic Industry Planning Report and announce the winners of the first Guangdong superior cosmetic products competition. The conference will invite P&G, BASF, Xinxuan and other international cosmetic producers, raw material suppliers and live broadcasting e-commerce businesses to give presentations. Industry experts will also gather and discuss issues of common interest, such as raw material innovation and dermatological advancement, package design and international trends, and the overseas development and globalization of domestic brands.

From 1 to 5 November, a series of online live broadcasting and offline interactive beauty brand promotion activities, cosmetic cultural activities and science popularization events will also be held at the main venue of the Cosmetics Week and the branch venues in four districts.
