The Grapeseed Co. has Moved! Find Us in the Funk Zone at the Waterline in Santa Barbara

The Grapeseed Co. has moved to the Funk Zone at The Waterline in Santa Barbara. Its Carpinteria location has a new scent bar plus expanded storefront and hours.

Online PR News 12-June-2018 The Grapeseed Company (www.grapeseedco.com) is excited to announce it has moved to a new location in the Funk Zone at The Waterline, 120 Santa Barbara Street, Santa Barbara, California. In addition, the companys warehouse at 4193 Carpinteria Avenue #6, Carpinteria, California has been augmented with a brand new scent bar, a larger storefront, and a reconfigured production lab and shipping area.

"We are psyched for this new chapter for The Grapeseed Co.," said founder Kristin Fraser. "Our space in the Funk Zone is a super fun location where you can sip, shop, eat and hang at Topa Topa and Lama Dog breweries, Fox Wine Co. and The Nook restaurant, along with other great shops. Plus, the storefront is now open daily, with later and Sunday hours for shopper convenience."

The location changes came on the heels of the crazy weather the past six months, including the Thomas Fire and the Montecito mudslides, which created immeasurable devastation for Santa Barbara and the surrounding communities.

Years of rain damage to the outer corner of the building, followed by a subsequent pairing of rain and heat in April caused structural damage to the 14 year old companys flagship store on Ortega Street in Santa Barbara. This necessitated moving the flagship location and expanding the warehouse space in Carpinteria. The decision to move to the Funk Zone was predicated on The Grapeseed Co.'s desire to maintain its historic ties to Santa Barbara. The new location is only a mile away from Ortega Street in the most up and coming area of the city.

"This sweet lemonade was made from a big fat lemon of a situation, but I ultimately think we landed in a better place," says Kristin "We've been working around the clock building out the new Funk Zone shop and can't wait to share it, host incredible scent bar parties, blend up our customers favorites at the Scent Bar, and just be surrounded by great people, businesses, food and drink, bubbling ideas in this collective environment."

The Waterline building is located right behind Michael Kate Interiors and opens at noon daily. Parking is available at the end of the street. Its family friendly, and dogs are welcome.
