Online PR News 03-December-2018 The National Association of Neonatal Therapists (NANT) will be hosting a live, 75-minute Virtual Summit with live Q & A this Tuesday, December 4th from 1:00 - 2:15 PM EST in webinar format.

The special guest presenters will be Madalynn Wendland, PT, DPT, PCS, ATP and her colleagues- Victoria Kunkel, MS, ORT/L, CNT, NTMTC and Alice McDonald, PT, NTMTC along with Ruth Elgen, SPT (student). The intention of this evidence-based algorithm is to provide clinicians with current evidence to support clinical decision-making for infants in the NICU.

In this webinar, the presentation team will show how the algorithm identifies bio-social characteristics, observation assessment and measurement techniques, implementable interventions and suggested frequency of follow up for neonates at risk for developing cranial deformities.

"This multidisciplinary team of presenters provides up to date literature on a highly relevant topic, a replicable process for improvement, and a clear example of the valuable contributions that can be made to the field of neonatal therapy with collaboration toward a common goal," NANT Founder and President Sue Ludwig, OTR/L, CNT.

Planning A-Head: An Algorithm for Head Shape Protection for Infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a complimentary virtual event. It will include a Q and A session at the conclusion of the program, and a recording will be made available to all registrants.

This course is offered for CEUs for OTs, PTs, SLPs and nurses. Learners must attend and complete the entire presentation. Participants who complete the recorded presentation must also complete a learning assessment in order to receive CEUs. No partial credit will be awarded.

"The structure of this annual online event is ideal for introducing highly relevant subject matter to a global audience," said Ludwig.
