ThingsMaster OTA: IoT Remote Wireless Device Management for Vehicle and Industrial networks

New Taipei, Taiwan, December 08, 2018 –(PR.com)– With the rapid development of Internet of Things connecting “things” and “machines,” the number of connected devices is expected to exceed 15 billion by 2020. Thus, there is an emerging need in comprehensive remote gateway device management functionality for the IoT and M2M. This December, WoMaster released a network management platform ThingsMaster OTA providing flexible and secured access from any web browser on PC, tablet or smartphone. It is designed for such operations as setting group device configurations, group reboot, and upgrade of firmware version which are sent directly to WoMasters wireless routers (WR series devices) over the air through wireless carriers and not via USB or other connectivity methods.

ThingsMaster OTA features interactive monitoring dashboard and map reflecting:
– The online/offline/warning status of all connected devices (green/red/orange colors, respectively)
– Event record (Model name/MAC address/FW version/RSSI/Last Connection Time/Last Activity Time)
– Signal strength
– GPS location, speed, and route (integrated with Google Maps).

Too low signal level or too high temperature can negatively effect on network performance and cause downtimes. To prevent this problem, users can customize alerts for such critical events with help of supported Node-RED flow-based programming.

Secure connection and data integrity are guaranteed by supporting VPN, the latest TLS encryption and X.509 authentication.
