Triton Digital Releases the Australian Podcast Ranker for August 2022

SYDNEY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Triton Digital, the global technology and services leader to the digital audio and podcast industry, announced today the release of the latest Australian Podcast Ranker. The Ranker provides insight into the Top 150 Podcasts, Top 150 Australian made podcasts, as well as the Top Publishers and Sales Representatives in Australia from 1 August through 31 August, 2022, as measured by Triton�s Podcast Metrics measurement service.

The Top 150 Podcast Ranker and Australian-Made Top 150 Podcast Ranker are ranked by monthly listeners, in accordance with the latest IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines.

For this reporting period, the top three publishers were ARN�s iHeartPodcast Network Australia, LiSTNR (SCA), and Stitcher. Also, during this reporting period, there were 73.5M downloads.

The top three podcasts for both the Top 150 Ranker and Top 150 All-Australian Ranker included, Hamish & Andy (LiSTNR (SCA)), Casefile True Crime (Audioboom), and The Kyle & Jackie O Show (ARN/iHeartMedia).

There were several debuts for the Top 150 Ranker, from KICPOD (LiSTNR (SCA)), Fed Up (Wondery), Bikies Inc. (News Corp Australia), and more.

For the Australian-Made Top 150 Ranker, new podcasts included Bloody Brilliant Beers (DM Podcasts), Footy Classified (Nine Digital), Dead Set Legends Melbourne (LiSTNR (SCA)), and more.
