Triton Digital Releases the Australian Podcast Ranker for January 2023

SYDNEY–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Triton Digital^�, the global technology and services leader to the digital audio, podcast, and broadcast radio industries, announced today the release of the first 2023 Australian Podcast Ranker. The Ranker provides insight into the Top 150 Podcasts as well as the Top 150 Australian-Made Podcasts, the Top Publishers in Australia, and the Top Sales Representatives in Australia from 1 January through 31 January 2023, as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service. The month of January had 67.8M downloads.

The Top Podcast Ranker and Top 150 (Australian-Made) Ranker are ranked by monthly listeners, in accordance with the latest IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines.

For this reporting period, the top three publishers were ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia again at #1, SiriusXM Podcast Network climbing to #2, and LiSTNR (SCA) at #3.

For this reporting period, the top three podcasts for both the Top Podcast Ranker and the Top 150 (Australian-Made) Ranker included Casefile True Crime (Audioboom) again at #1, Mamamia Out Loud (Mamamia) again at #2, and The Kyle & Jackie O Show climbing to #3.

The Top Podcast Ranker had several debuts from The Tim Dillon Show (ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia), Girls Next Level (ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia), Fill My Cup (Mamamia), and more.

For the Top 150 (Australian-Made) Ranker, new podcasts included Darling, Shine! (LiSTNR (SCA)), Aunty Donna Podcast, (LiSTNR (SCA)), Central Station True Stories from Outback Australia (NOVA Entertainment), and more.
