TVS RTR 125 LC unveiled at EICMA 2026 with liquid-cooled 125cc engine and six-speed box

TVS Motor has unveiled the production-ready TVS RTR 125 LC at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy, a liquid-cooled 125cc streetfighter aimed at European dealerships rather than Indian ones. The bike is being offered abroad as the entry point into TVS’ performance-oriented motorcycle range, according to BikeWale.

The most striking detail in a class that still runs mostly air-cooled 110–125 singles: a six-speed gearbox and KYB inverted (USD) front forks. TVS is treating the Apache RTR 125 as a proper sports motorcycle, not a commuter with a fairing.

125cc engine, four valves, liquid-cooled

At the heart of the TVS RTR 125 LC sits a 125cc, four-valve, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. Power figures vary slightly across outlets: carandbike reports 14.7 bhp at 9,000 rpm, while Times Now puts it at 14.9 PS; torque is 12 Nm at 7,000 rpm in both reports. The six-speed transmission is confirmed by several outlets, including ZigWheels and Times Now, and is a rarity in the 125 segment.

The 5-inch TFT display with full smartphone map mirroring is a feature set TVS has so far reserved for its bigger Apaches. Braking comes from ByBre callipers with dual-channel ABS, and both ends get KYB suspension hardware.

Europe first, India unlikely

The TVS RTR 125 LC is built for Europe, where TVS is expanding both its retail network and its engineering operations. Indian buyers should not expect an immediate launch: the bikeadvice report states the motorcycle is unlikely to come to India because TVS already sells the Raider 125 in that segment at home. European launch, however, is confirmed — BikeWale reports the RTR 125 is now on sale there.

Four new products at EICMA 2026

The RTR 125 LC was one of four production-ready models TVS Motor showed at EICMA 2026. The other three are electric scooters, as Autocar Professional reports, and two of the three e-scooters are already on sale somewhere, according to Autocar India. The Milan show therefore doubles as a statement of intent: TVS is pushing its European retail footprint while testing how far up-market a 125cc motorcycle can go.

TVS has given no date for an Indian launch of the TVS RTR 125, and with the Raider 125 already covering the segment domestically, an Indian debut is not on the announced roadmap.
