Aster appointed Ernst & Young LLP (EY) as �Process Advisors’ to ensure due-diligence of applications based on the defined eligibility criteria, evaluation of the entries by an independent panel of experts and presentation by the finalists to an independent Jury to determine the final winner.

Encouraging nurses from the U.S. and around the world to apply or be nominated for the award, Dr. Azad Moopen, founder chairman and managing director of Aster DM Healthcare says, “Nurses are the unsung heroes of the healthcare system which has been proven undoubtedly during the Covid-19 pandemic. Nominations have been received from 17,300+ registrants across 175 countries spanning the US, Middle East, Indian sub-continent, Africa, North and South America, Central Asia, Europe, and Oceania. After the initial review based on the set criteria, shortlisted nominations will undergo a voting process and 10 finalists will be selected for the award ceremony, interview and interactions with the jury.

Winners will be announced on May 12, 2022, International Nurses Day at a grand ceremony in Dubai. In addition to the substantial first prize of $250,000 USD, the nine finalists will also be presented with monetary prizes and awards.
