Ventilators Donated to India Hospitals Support Covid-19 Patients

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Caliburn International recently donated 10 ventilators and 12 bilevel positive airway pressure machines to hospitals in India. The donations were made to MS Ramaiah Hospital in Bangalore and Apollo Hospital in Mysore and will be used to treat patients with Covid-19, and donated because the company wants to create social impact globally wherever it is possible to do outreach.

On behalf of MS Ramaiah hospital, I would like to thank the company for extending support in these difficult times and we will do our utmost to provide treatment to the underserved and needy who are affected by Covid-19, said Subramanya Bangalore, a representative with MS Ramaiah Hospital Bangalore.

Bharateesh Reddy, the Vice President Operations and Unit Head of the Mysore unit of Apollo Hospitals said, Donating the lifesaving equipment goes a long way in serving people affected by Covid-19.

As much of the world is experiencing a declining number of Covid-19 cases, many people in India are still suffering from the virus, said CEO Bob Stalick. We are committed to healthcare around the world and are grateful to be able to support Indias medical teams and our global community. This donation aligns with the companys vision for supporting global missions and advanced medical solutions worldwide.

Earlier this year, Caliburn announced its plans to transition into two independent companies, Acuity International and Valiance Humanitarian. The company expects the separation into two companies to be completed by the fall of 2021.

The company has additional global efforts creating social impact. For example, in June, the company announced its intention to commit an initial $250,000 toward a new scholarship campaign with the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani. Earlier this year, the company donated more than 15,000 personal protective equipment items to organizations in the United States.

Employees provide responsive medical care around the world, often to areas challenged by conflict, geography and geopolitics. Advanced healthcare services include managing and staffing on-site health clinics and hospitals and are customized to meet the unique needs of U.S. government and military personnel, contractors, third-country nationals, local civilians, and coalition forces.

As we work toward growing into Acuity this fall, the company is planning further corporate social responsibility initiatives to make real differences globally, Stalick said. We welcome partnering with other companies that align with our values of service in the areas of global missions, advanced technology and advanced medical.
