Wizcabin’s automated course authoring platform can reduce the time to develop elearning courses by up to 70%.
Wizcabin’s cloud-based platform lets users convert their learning documents into an interactive elearning course automatically. The platform contains built-in interactions and asset libraries. Users are not required to have any design or development skills, which makes it adaptable for creating user generated content and microlearning courses. The platform lets users create, rehash, and update elearning courses in minutes. Users can produce SCORM compliant, HTML content from their storyboards.
“Most of the times the learning manager or instructional designer is at the mercy of the tool and the developer for keeping the timelines and creating the content,” said Naveen Neelakandan, the CEO of Wizcabin. “Because of this, more often than not, the final course is a trade-off between the actual requirement and practicalities, because of the limitations caused by time, the tool and the competencies of the developer. We are trying to reduce time and effort put into course authoring so that those resources and money could be used for more critical tasks, like devising a learning strategy.”
The company aims to capitalize on the evolving elearning environment by reducing technological burden of creating elearning courses through automation. The company argues that the quality of learning should not depend on the technicalities of course development and stresses the importance of spending time and money on the learning strategy and content.
