WorldRemit and Vodafone Fiji M-PAISA have waived remittance fees for senders in five countries, enabling them to quickly send money to loved ones in Fiji

WorldRemit and Vodafone are waiving fees until 14th July for anyone who wants to support the people of Fiji, who have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and Cyclone Harold. The zero-fee money transfer programme is available through the WorldRemit website and mobile App, which can be downloaded via Google Play and the App Store. To send money via WorldRemit’s mobile money transfer service to Fiji, customers simply open the app and select Vodafone M-PAISA Mobile Money Transfer, then enter the receiver’s information. Recipients can either obtain the money through the Vodafone M-PAISA mobile money account or collect cash at local agents in Fiji, free of charge.
