Xiaomi all set to launch Redmi Note 2 Prime on 15 Dec, 2015 in India

Xiaomi is all set to launch a new Made in India Phone for Indian Market on 15 Dec, 2015. Xiaomi has put up a Special Christmas offer page on their website along with a hint of a Surprise launch. The Chinese smartphone maker will be piling up all of its offers on 15 December and this also includes a special surprise, which we think in all probability will be the launch of the Redmi Note 2 Prime smartphone.

Mi fans in India have indeed waited quite a while to get their hands on this powerful mid-range smartphone that packs in a MediaTek Helio X-10 chipset that is available on some flagship devices. From what we can tell, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime may be exclusive to Amazon.in as the e-commerce website has begun to tease the same.

Coming to the specs of the Note 2, the device sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display. It is powered by MediaTek’s powerful MT6795 Helio X10 SoC, that comes with an octa-core set up clocked at 2.2 GHz, coupled with 2 GB of RAM. Owners will get a 13-megapixel rear snapper and a 5-megapixel front-facing one all powered by a 3,020 mAh battery.
