NAGOYA, Japan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#2ndstreet--2ND STREET TAIWAN CO., LTD., a subsidiary of GEO Holdings (TOKYO: 2681), is set to open 2^ND Street Taipei Zhongshan Purchasing on October 16, 2021. This will be the seventh shop in Taiwan for 2^nd Street Taiwan Co., Ltd.

Within Japan, GEO Holdings has more than 2,000 shops and EC stores, including GEO Shops, which sell and rent DVDs, CD, and video games, and 2ND STREET, which handles the sales of a comprehensive selection of used products, including clothing, furniture, and home appliances. Beginning in 2018, the first 2ND STREET shops outside of Japan began by opening in the United States and in Malaysia. The first shop in Taiwan opened in August of 2020, and this shop, 2^ND Street Taipei Zhongshan Purchasing, will be the seventh, and the second shop in Taiwan dedicated to purchasing.

2^ND Street Taipei Zhongshan Purchasing will open in a northern section of Taipei, in an area referred to as the Zhongshan Business District. This is a shopping area with a high density of popular department stores, cosmetics boutiques, accessories shops, and clothing stores aimed at younger buyers. There are also many fashionable caf�s and restaurants, and many people come for both shopping and gourmet experiences. The new store will also be in a very convenient location, just one minute on foot from the MRT Zhongshan Station.

The new store will target purchases of men�s and women�s apparel as well as items like handbags, shoes, and accessories. Purchased items will be distributed to regional locations and will not only help to reinforce our inventory but can also be used for resale on the 2^ND Street Taiwan online store.

2ND Street Taiwan has plans to open an additional two shops by the end of March 2022.
